OUR STORY

In 2005, Dean Parsons was living and working in Turks & Caicos when he began making regular trips to the Dominican Republic. Over the years, his passion for premium cigars grew stronger with each visit. Parsons officially founded and trademarked Epic Cigars in 2010, marking the beginning of an unforgettable journey.

Born and raised in Canada, Parsons served over a decade in law enforcement, specializing in firemarms instruction, uniform traffic patrol, community crime prevention,  swat operations and drug investigations. After transitioning from his law enforcement career, Parsons immersed himself in the world of premium cigars. For over 10 years, he worked alongside master blender Rolando Antonio Villamil, dedicating himself to learning every aspect of tobacco cultivation, aging, fermentation, and the intricate art of blending.

 

EPIC Cigars are handcrafted by some of the finest torcedores in the industry--true artisans with decades of experience. Each cigar features carefully selected tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, and ocasionally other renowned growing regions.
